Blue World has revised its Lasso 3 License Agreement exclusively for
WebSTAR/WebSTAR SSL users who require two Lasso 3 installations in order to
communicate with both the WebSTAR and WebSTAR SSL applications residing on
the same computer. The revised license agreement allows Lasso 3 CGI and
Plug-in customers to install and use a second copy of like Lasso 3 software
in order to communicate
with both the WebSTAR and WebSTAR SSL applications residing on the same
computer.
Although Lasso 3 CGI customers have been able to communicate easily with
both WebSTAR and WebSTAR SSL applications residing on the same computer
without the need for an additional Lasso 3 license, the revised license
agreement now allows Lasso 3 Plug-in customers to communicate with both
WebSTAR and WebSTAR SSL applications residing on the same computer with a
single Lasso 3 Plug-in purchase.
The Lasso 3 License Agreement Amendment, provided below, applies to all
applicable Lasso 3 purchases. Customers who have already purchased
additional Lasso 3 licenses in order to accomodate needs addressed in the
revised license agreement may exchange their additional purchase for any
other Blue World software or support plans or receive a refund.

WebSTAR community and are pleased to provide WebSTAR/WebSTAR SSL users a
cost effective way to purchase Lasso 3,” said Blue World president and CEO

The revised license agreement only applies to usage of the applicable Lasso
3 software with WebSTAR/WebSTAR SSL and does not alter the Lasso 3 License
Agreement for all other configurations.

Lasso 3 License Agreement Amendment
November 6 1998
1. Applicable Software. This license agreement amends the Lasso 3 License
Agreement for the following Lasso 3 applications and modules: Lasso 3 W*API
Plug-in for Mac OS, Lasso 3 CGI for Mac OS, Lasso 3 ODBC Module for Mac OS,
Lasso 3 FileMaker Pro 3.x/4.x Module for Mac OS (collectively referred to
as Applicable Software).
2. Applicable Configuration. This amendment is restricted to configurations
where a single Lasso 3 license for the Applicable Software may be used for
two Lasso 3 Applicable Software installations on the same CPU in order to
operate both the Starnine Technologies, Inc. WebSTAR and WebSTAR SSL
applications operating on a single CPU as they exist as separate
applications (collectively referred to as Applicable Configuration).
3. License. This License allows you to install and use a single copy of the
Applicable Software and data on a single computer for all configurations
except the Applicable Configuration, in which case two copies of the
Applicable Software may be installed and used on a single computer as
specified in section 2.
