Features:
Compile Everything: Process Less, Sass, Stylus, Jade, Haml, Slim, CoffeeScript, Javascript, and Compass files automatically each time you save. Easily set options for each language.
Live Browser Reloads: Instantly see changes in your browser, with animation and without hitting the refresh button or installing plugins. Great for tweaking layouts!
Combine and Minify: Reduce load times by mashing Javascript and CoffeeScript files together and then minifying with Uglify.js. It’s so easy, you’ll giggle like a schoolgirl. Seriously.
Optimize Images: Losslessly reduce JPEG and PNG file sizes with one click and see the savings. One less thing to do at deployment. (More compression options coming soon!)
JSHint and JSLint: Makes debugging scripts fun and easy. Instantly find that one hanging comma that kills IE, or enforce coding styles and best practices across teams.
Team Collaboration: Sync project settings across teams and computers in an open JSON format. Keep everyone on the same page or easily jumpstart new sites.
Easy Frameworks: Keep just one copy of a file on your drive and easily use it across many projects without worrying about file paths. No more copying files into every new site.
It Just Works: There’s nothing to install or configure. No mucking around the command line. Just run the app and start working. It’s that easy.
Improvements:
App go more vroom. CodeKit has always been fast and has always compiled on background threads. This release is even faster because it migrates many tools to Swift Concurrency, which reduces thread-shifting overhead in the macOS kernel.
The UI is now more fingerprint resistant.
Deprecations:
Libsass: it’s going away. It hasn’t been updated in years and Dart Sass is the official standard now. The next release will drop Libsass.
ESLint Formatting Rules: ESLint deprecated 30+ rules that enforce only style, not code-correctness. These rules will disappear in the future.
My Space Gray MacBook Pro From 10 Months Ago: I am embarrassed to be seen with it.
Component Updates:
Autoprefixer 10.4.16
Babel 7.23.2
Browserslist 4.22.1
Dart Sass 1.69.5
ESLint 8.53.0
Node 20.9.0

It’s super easy to get started, simply drag audio files or folders into TuneTag, and get editing meta data and ID3 tags instantly.
What is ID3 and meta data?
Whenever you open a music file in an audio player, you expect to see details about the song you are playing, right? Meta data is the standard which enables this. Details of the audio file are stored within the file, so that the device you play the song on can get that information quickly. Information such as the Title, Album name, the Artist, Album art and track numbers are all stored in the meta data. ID3 is the de facto standard of meta data container most commonly used in mp3 files.
Why use TuneTag instead of the Music.app?
Because TuneTag has been designed to do one thing, and one thing only – edit audiofile meta data. While the Music app is great, there are some things which TuneTag just does better. For example in TuneTag you can very easily renumber any number of songs incrementally. It is also equally simple to create a naming template and batch rename files. TuneTag is also super lightweight and fast to load.
TuneTag is super intuitive and Easy to use.
TuneTag is fully drag and drop aware. drag files and folders into the main window and TuneTag will quickly show any supported audio files, ready for editing. Likewise you can drag to reorder files for batch file renaming or incrementing Track numbers. Dragging outside of TuneTag will create a copy of the audio file. Drag and Drop is also supported into and out of the handy Album Art panel. Quick Look is supported for easily previewing any songs without having to leave TuneTag.

Simply Fortran’s development environment brings the professional features to improve the Fortran developer’s productivity whether working with legacy libraries bases or authoring new programs. Having been designed for Fortran, the Simply Fortran editor provides sensible behavior when working with fixed-format Fortran source code, including Fortran-aware block indenting and commenting. The editor provides inline, real-time syntax information, highlighting potential problems as the developer types. The context-sensitive autocomplete feature proposes variables, subtroutines, and functions that are visible within the current scope. The development environment also makes managing large-scale projects easy. When working with modern Fortran, Simply Fortran will handle the calculation of module dependencies automatically, correctly compiling Fortran source files in the proper order. The development environment allows viewing a structural outline of the entire project, searching for specific Fortran modules, function, or subroutines, and automatically renaming Fortran components project-wide.
Simply Fortran includes a fully configured installation of the GNU Fortran compiler. After installing Simply Fortran, there is nothing more necessary to begin compiling source code, and the developer need not ever use the command line (unless he or she prefers to do so). The compiler features compatibility with legacy Fortran source code as well as supporting all of the Fortran 90 and 95 standards and most of the Fortran 2003 and 2008 standards.
The latest release incorporates usability improvements and new features to improve productivity across all systems.

macOS checks every app against a slew of security features: Gatekeeper, notarization, hardening, entitlements and more. But it doesn’t show you the result of these checks, preferring to keep these behind the scenes — either the app opens or it doesn’t, perhaps with an “app downloaded from the internet” dialog first.
Use Apparency for:
Examining the App Structure
Getting Information About a Component
General Information
Document Types and Other Info.plist Properties
Code Signature, Sandbox and Gatekeeper Info
Getting Details About a Component
Show the Code Signature
Show the Info Property List
Show the Entitlements
Show Executable Information
Show App Store Receipt
Show Provisioning Profile
Examining Components in Other Apps
Finding App Containers
Finding Shared App Group Containers
Using From Quick Look
Added File > Open System Component (Control-Cmd-O), which allows you to open a component of macOS itself, by searching for a specific name (or portion thereof). This can be used to open:
system frameworks (including those in PrivateFrameworks);
system dylibs, even those moved into the DYLD shared cache and not actually on disk; and
system executables started as launchd jobs.
After typing a name, simply pick the desired component from the list to open it.
Added File > Open System Library with String Literal (Shift-Control-Cmd-O), which also allows you to open a system framework or dylib, but by searching for a specific string embedded in the library. This is similiar to searching the output of strings(1), at least in concept, but it works on (the vast majority of) system libraries that have been moved into the DYLD shared cache.
Added Component > Analyze Executable Using Hopper Disassembler (Shift-Cmd-D), which points Hopper at the selected component’s executable, and automates through the various Hopper loading option dialogs. This even works for system frameworks that have been moved into the DYLD shared cache, thanks to Hopper’s ability to read that cache — and support for using AppleScript to automate it.
From the Executable Information inspector, you can now directly open any of the system frameworks or libraries in a new Apparency window. Under Dynamically Linked Libraries, select a library and choose Open Library in Apparency — or just double-click. This works only for libraries that are referenced by an absolute path (not @rpath or other DYLD variable paths, which are probably somewhere else in the current window anyway).
Ability to open system dylibs that have been moved into the DYLD shared cache, and thus don’t even exist on disk, such as /usr/lib/libobjc.A.dylib. Although you can’t use the File > Open dialog for these — there’s nothing to choose! — there are several other ways to open these:
use >File > Open System Component and type the base name of the library, such as “libobjc”: you can then select the library to open;
if you have an opened component that uses that library, open the Executable Information inspector and double-click on the library; or
if you know the canonical path for the library, use the appy command line tool.
Whichever way you open the dylib, you can see its linked libraries, examine its embedded strings (see below) and/or pass it to Hopper for reverse engineering.
Added >Component > Show String Literals from Executable (Shift-Option-Cmd-X). This inspector shows the constant strings that are built into the Mach-O executable. This is similar to what you’d get by running strings(1), although Apparency doesn’t look for strings as aggressively (or heuristically) as strings(1). Apparency searches only in Mach-O sections that are declared to contain NULL-terminated C strings. You can filter and sort the list of strings in various ways, which can be helpful when you are reverse engineering an executable. Importantly, you can use this inspector on a framework or dylib that has been moved into the DYLD shared cache.
Enhanced the File > Open > Look for components in de facto “code places” option to be more aggressive about finding bundles and/or code in non-standard places. This mode is a tradeoff between completeness and performance, but we may have overstressed performance in the past. Now, in addition to searching the Resources folder, it will also search non-standard directories at the top-level of the bundle Contents. Whether there are any such places varies with the app: most have none, some have a few, Xcode has many. Note that if you enable this option on a particularly large and complex app (like Xcode), you may experience a delay before the Apparency window appears (one reason that we don’t turn this on by default).

drawio is an open-source technology stack for building diagramming applications, and the world’s most widely used browser-based end-user diagramming software.
draw.io Desktop is designed to be completely isolated from the Internet, apart from the update process. No diagram data is ever sent externally, nor do we send any analytics about app usage externally. This means certain functionality for which we do not have a JavaScript implementation do not work in the Desktop build, namely .vsd and Gliffy import.

CMake can handle in-place and out-of-place builds, enabling several builds from the same source tree, and cross-compilation. The ability to build a directory tree outside the source tree is a key feature, ensuring that if a build directory is removed, the source file remains unaffected. Another feature is the ability to generate a cache to be used with a graphical editor, which, when CMake is run, can locate executables, files, and libraries. This information goes into the cache, which can then be tailored before generating the native build files. Complicated directory hierarchies and applications that rely on several libraries are well supported by CMake. For instance, CMake is able to accommodate a project that has multiple toolkits, or libraries that each have multiple directories. In addition, CMake can work with projects that require executables to be created before generating code to be compiled for the final application. Its Open-Source, extensible design allows CMake to be adapted as necessary for specific projects.
It can generate makefiles for many platforms and IDEs including Unix, Windows, Mac OS X, OS/2, MSVC, Cygwin, MinGW, and Xcode. Projects which use CMake include Blender, Bullet physics engine, LLVM and Clang, MariaDB, MuseScore, MySQL, Qt5, Second Life, Stellarium, and SuperTux.

Secure core – Regular VPN services can be compromised if their servers are under surveillance. ProtonVPN prevents this by first passing user traffic through our Secure Core network in privacy-friendly countries like Switzerland and Iceland. Thus, even a compromised VPN endpoint server will not reveal your true IP address.
Perfect forward secrecy – ProtonVPN exclusively uses ciphers with Perfect Forward Secrecy, meaning that your encrypted traffic cannot be captured and decrypted later, even if an encryption key gets compromised in the future.
Swiss based – We are headquartered in Switzerland which has some of the world’s strongest privacy laws. Switzerland is also outside of EU and US jurisdiction and is not a member of the fourteen eyes surveillance network.
No-log policy – ProtonVPN is a no logs VPN service. We do not track or record your internet activity, and therefore, we are unable to disclose this information to third parties.

This release improves and fixes many things. Annotating PDFs is again more reliable. Exported .enex files from Evernote use less resources when being imported and also retain text added by OCR, if available. Markdown enthusiasts will appreciate more robust handling of their documents, including improvements to adding images. You can now undo or redo some document metadata changes, e.g., adding Finder comments.
For your browser, we have added a Formatted Note bookmarklet and improved the way our bookmarklets clip. Also, there is now initial support for clipping from the Arc browser. For the automators, there is improved AppleScript and JavaScript for Automation support, as well as a new item link URL parameter that allows opening a document in a new tab. Lastly, we continue to make DEVONthink, including our sync engine, more robust, reliable, and performant.
New
The Sorter has basic support for clipping from the Arc browser.
Added a Formatted Note bookmarklet and updated the Web Archive and PDF bookmarklets. Now using also the HTML source, clipping should be more reliable, e.g., behind paywalls.
Item links have a new parameter, opentab. It opens the linked item in a new tab of an existing DEVONthink window. The value of the parameter is 1 or 0.
When removing global smart groups or smart rules, an alert will now appear to confirm this.
A new hidden preference, DontSetFindPboard, disables using macOS’ shared clipboard. This eliminates search terms used in DEVONthink from being automatically used in other applications, e.g., EasyFind.
New (Server)
A new hidden preference WebServerSession allows defining the idle time until websharing is logged out. The default is 30 minutes.
Improved
Annotating PDFs is more reliable with a wider variety of documents.
Exporting a PDF retains its table of contents.
Better detection of the availability of fonts in a PDF, embedded or local.
The process of splitting a PDF can be more reliably cancelled.
Improved appearance of selected Note annotations in PDFs.
Importing from Evernote or its .enex files now includes text added by OCR from embedded images, if available. We also made the import process use less resources.
When importing .enex files, DEVONthink reports the number of added notes in the Log window.
Clipping web pages as Markdown, creating Markdown notes in the Sorter, and converting formats to Markdown, all honor the Files > Markdown > Copy images into database preferences setting.
When clipping as a formatted note, stylesheets are merged to reduce the resulting document’s size and render more reliably.
Images copied to the clipboard from web pages can be pasted more reliably into Markdown documents, including while composing notes in the Sorter.
When using the Tools > Import Online Markdown Images command, images embedded in documents with data: URLs are now imported if Preferences > Files > Markdown > Copy images into database is enabled. And overall, adding images to Markdown documents avoids importing duplicate items and ensures unique file names for more reliable linking.
Clipping an online Markdown document, e.g., on GitHub, yielded a web archive of the page with the HTML source. Now the clipping is the Markdown file.
Blockquotes in Markdown documents use the styles in the quoted text while editing in WYSIWYG mode.
HTML and XML documents are better parsed and handled, including improved syntax coloring.
Changes to the font and background colors in the Editing preferences are immediately updated for the currently viewed plain text, Markdown, or HTML/XML source documents.
The Info > Properties inspector now supports HTML or Markdown keywords separated by semicolons.
The text added via the Insert Summarized Annotations command in the Annotations & Reminders > Annotations inspector is better formatted.
Grouped or merged items get better names.
Changes to aliases, Finder comments, or URLs on an item can be undone and redone.
The Navigation bar above the View/Edit pane displays a property icon for locked or encrypted PDF documents.
File > Database Properties reports the number of indexed or replicated items, with indexed items taking priority.
The Zoom toolbar buttons are swapped from left to right to match the layout of other Mac applications.
All items on a window’s toolbar now have a tooltip.
Window dimensions are more reliably retained in macOS Sonoma.
Renamed “Add CoreML suggestions to images” to Add Vision suggestions to images in the Data > Tags menu and Files > Import preferences.
“Automatically expand & collapse” in Preferences > General > Interface > Sidebar is now Automatically expand & collapse groups.
If the selection contains items in the trash, the Data > Move to Trash command is now disabled. This also applies to the alternate Move All Replicants to Trash.
When moving all replicants of an item to the trash, an alert will prompt you to confirm the action.
You will be prompted to allow full disk access when using certain commands, e.g., File > Import > Folders & Attachments from Notes, if DEVONthink doesn’t currently have access.
If you have indexed an application’s iCloud Drive folder, e.g., TextEdit, it’s possible to rename it in DEVONthink without affecting the actual Finder folder.
Downloading RSS feeds is improved and utilizes a user agent similar to Safari’s. More feeds are also supported.
Placeholders containing code in Markdown templates work more reliably.
The %recordHashTags% placeholder automatically replaces characters unsupported in hashtags, e.g., spaces, but doesn’t use an escaping backslash in Markdown documents.
The Scripts > Tabs > Open Location script uses the URL of the current window, if available. Also, all scripts in this menu now use https://.
The script editor popover in smart rule actions and reminders uses a monospaced font on macOS 10.15 and later.
The Scripts > Import > Man Page script produces a plain text document due to the pstopdf tool being removed by Apple.
AppleScript and JavaScript for Automation (JXA) execute more reliably.
The license handling is more reliable.
DEVONthink more efficiently cleans up temporary files when quitting.
Overall improved reliability, including some changes specific to macOS Sonoma.
Improved (Pro)
Small cosmetic changes to main windows improve the appearance of the View > Import > Emails interface.
New sheet documents created after copying from the Concordance > List inspector have better formatting.
Selecting words in the List and Cloud views of the Concordance inspector more clearly report when no related terms are found.

The preview in the Imprinter preferences now displays a more accurate preview of the imprint’s location.
Improved (Sync)
Indexed items in their Finder folders are more reliably deleted when Synchronize contents of indexed items is disabled for the sync location.
Duplicating documents is more reliable when resolving sync conflicts.
Improved logging by minimizing the report of transient conditions, like temporary network timeouts.

Features:
Effortlessly organize your media into a versatile library
Native Cocoa and web-based versions provide local and network access to management features
Automatically retrieve metadata from the Internet
Complete customization of your library with a few clicks
Automatic updates when new local content is added
Note: This version makes changes to the database which will make it compatible only with server versions 1.31.2 or higher (released March 14 2023). You will not be able to use your database on Plex Media Server versions lower than this after this update. In order to roll back a database to an older version than 1.31.2 you would first need to downgrade to 1.31.2 (up to 1.32.8) and then downgrade from that version afterwards. We have bumped the server version right up to 1.40.x to signal this change. Please also be patient when updating to this version if you have a very large database and allow the upgrade process to finish.

Showing & Deleting Invisible Files
A Better Finder Attributes can delete invisible files, such as .DS_Store, that can lead to problems when delivering files to non-Mac systems and play havoc with Unix tools such as version control and archiving tools.
On top of this A Better Finder Attributes has a special “Show Invisible Files” feature hidden in the “Tools” menu that switches the Finder to a special mode in which invisible files become visible

You own your own notes! All notes are stored as plain-text files on your desktop computer.
Sync them over devices (desktop & mobile) with your ownCloud or Nextcloud sync client.
Use ownCloud Notes to edit your notes in the web.
You are able to write down your thoughts with QOwnNotes and edit or search for them later from your mobile device (like with CloudNotes) or the ownCloud / Nextcloud web-services.
The notes are stored as plain text files and you can sync them with your ownCloud or Nextcloud sync client. Of course other software, like Dropbox, Syncthing, Seafile or BitTorrent Sync can be used too.
I like the concept of having notes accessible in plain text files, like it is done in the Nextcloud notes app, to gain a maximum of freedom, but I was not able to find a decent desktop note taking tool or a text editor, that handles them well in conjunction with ownCloud or Nextcloud.
Out of this need QOwnNotes was born.
Features:
The notes folder can be freely chosen (multiple note folders can be used);
Sub-string searching of notes is possible and search results are highlighted in the notes;
Application can be operated with customizable keyboard shortcuts;
Scripting support and an online script repository where you can install scripts inside the application;

Design
MySQL Workbench enables a DBA, developer, or data architect to visually design, model, generate, and manage databases. It includes everything a data modeler needs for creating complex ER models, forward and reverse engineering, and also delivers key features for performing difficult change management and documentation tasks that normally require much time and effort.
Develop
MySQL Workbench delivers visual tools for creating, executing, and optimizing SQL queries. The SQL Editor provides color syntax highlighting, auto-complete, reuse of SQL snippets, and execution history of SQL. The Database Connections Panel enables developers to easily manage standard database connections, including MySQL Fabric. The Object Browser provides instant access to database schema and objects.
Administer
MySQL Workbench provides a visual console to easily administer MySQL environments and gain better visibility into databases. Developers and DBAs can use the visual tools for configuring servers, administering users, performing backup and recovery, inspecting audit data, and viewing database health.
Visual Performance Dashboard
MySQL Workbench provides a suite of tools to improve the performance of MySQL applications. DBAs can quickly view key performance indicators using the Performance Dashboard. Performance Reports provide easy identification and access to IO hotspots, high cost SQL statements, and more. Plus, with 1 click, developers can see where to optimize their query with the improved and easy to use Visual Explain Plan.
Database Migration
MySQL Workbench now provides a complete, easy to use solution for migrating Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Sybase ASE, PostreSQL, and other RDBMS tables, objects and data to MySQL. Developers and DBAs can quickly and easily convert existing applications to run on MySQL both on Windows and other platforms. Migration also supports migrating from earlier versions of MySQL to the latest releases.
It is available as both open source and commercial editions. The Community (OSS) Edition is available from this page under the free software/open source GNU General Public License (commonly known as the “GPL”).
Bugs Fixed
On macOS 14, MySQL Workbench would unexpectedly halt when attempting to open a model. (Bug #112440, Bug #36123536)
