NICKENICH, Germany (May 18, 2005) -- Monkeybread Software releases version
5.2 of the MBS plug-in for REALbasic.
The MBS plug-in comprises a collection of several plug-in parts which
extend the REALbasic development environment with over 500 classes and 4
controls featuring around 10000 documented functions.
The plug-ins require REALbasic 3.5 or newer. Also required are 75 MB hard
disc space and around 16 MB of RAM in addition to the requirements of
REALbasic and your operation system itself. While all plug-in parts compile
on Mac OS 8.x, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X and Windows, each function may depend
on additional system requirements to work successfully. Some plugin parts
support Linux.
Plugin licenses are available for the year 2005: 40 Euro (+sales tax) for

SoftRAID LLC, announced today that its SoftRAID 3 driver is included with
Apple's new operating System, Tiger (Mac OS 10.4). This includes all retail
DVD's and CPUs which come pre-installed with 10.4.
The SoftRAID 3 driver allows the OS X system to recognize SoftRAID volumes
created with the SoftRAID 3 application. This means that a user can take
their SoftRAID volumes to any machine with Tiger installed and the volumes
will appear on the desktop and function normally, with or without the
presence of the SoftRAID application. The SoftRAID application is necessary
for the user to create and manage the volumes.
