Copenhagen and San Francisco, August 11th 2006 – Unity has just been
awarded a runner-up Apple Design Award for “Best Use of Mac OS X
Graphics” at Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference. This is the
first time that a game development tool has reached the level of
quality and ease of use required to win this prestigious award.

“We’re happy that game development has finally reached this level of
usability technical excellence. And proud that it is Unity that is
setting this new standard,” said David Helgason, CEO of OTEE.

The Apple Design Awards were handed out by old-time Apple interface
design guru John Geleynse on stage at the Moscone center in San
Francisco, complete with thumping music and smoke-machines.
