DESIDERATUM RELEASES PRAECO 1.5 FOR MACINTOSH AND WINDOWS

Praeco 1.5 adds new heavily-requested features to all areas of function.

October 8, 2002 — Desideratum has released Praeco 1.5, an update to
their eBay auction tool for buyers and sellers. This version adds new
features including expanded searching options, more display
customization, auction countdowns, encrypted bidding passwords, and
workarounds for outstanding issues with the Mac OS X 10.2 operating
system.

“Praeco is positioning itself to become the essential tool for all

works to achieve this with a broad spectrum of improvements.”

New Praeco 1.5 features include:

– Search query options for category, sort order, completed items, and
the country the items are available to;

– Larger blocks of search results with more information per result;

– View options to specify column order;

– Countdown field in the item details and item list displays live countdown
of time remaining;

– Encryption of the bidding password helps keep it protected;

– Preferences option to specify whether items are selected and displayed as
they are updated;

– Improved selection of time zone using GMT offsets;

– Resolution of outstanding issues with the Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar operating
system update.
