TEXT CLEANER UPDATE BRINGS WEB-READY CLEANING AND KEEPS STYLES WITH XPRESS TAGS

Takoma Park, MD November 3, 1998--Studio 405, Inc. announced today that it
has begun shipping Text Cleaner 1.5 for the Macintosh. Text Cleaner
provides correct typesetting marks and input error correction in one pass,
eliminating the need for common search and replace routines. The 1.5
upgrade adds text preparation for the World-Wide Web by changing text
characters with no direct HTML conversion to their web-safe counterparts.
Also new to version 1.5 is automatic recognition of Xpress Tags, allowing
QuarkXpress users to retain all styles and style guides, including font
designation. Text Cleaner will work with any application that allows Copy
and Paste or saving a text file. Pricing has been reduced to $95, down from
$110.00.

hard disk space and operating system 7.0 or higher with 5,000k of free RAM.
