FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ONEWORLD SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES NEW SOFTWARE RELEASE FOR
ONEWORLD 5000 COMMUNICATIONS SERVERS

SUNNYVALE, Calif., – November 19, 1998 – OneWorld Systems,(TM) Inc.
(Nasdaq: OWLD) today announced a new software release for its OneWorld(R)
5000 communications server product family. New features include support for
Macintosh-centric networks and enhancements to GlobalFax(TM) fax software,
support for fax billing codes, and a new Configuration Wizard. OneWorld
5000 software release Version 1.6 is free to registered users of the
OneWorld 5000 family of communications servers and will be available from
value-added resellers or directly from the company beginning Friday,
November 20, 1998.

OneWorld 5000 Server Now Supports Macintosh-centric Networks

The OneWorld 5000 is the only communications server that offers Internet
routing, remote access, send fax, and receive fax in a single product. With
the new OneWorld 5000 Version 1.6 software release, Macintosh-centric
networks can now incorporate the OneWorld 5000’s unique capabilities into
their growing offices.

For companies that have standardized on Apple Macintosh, the
OneWorld 5000 now has full native Macintosh support for faxing, Apple
Remote Access 2.0/3.0, and Internet Routing.

Enhancements to GlobalFax fax software for the OneWorld 5000 now enable a
common address book to be maintained and shared with Global Village(R)
GlobalFax software commonly used by Global Village modem users. For
example, PowerBook users need to maintain only one address book that can be
used while in the office when connected to the office LAN, or while on the
road using a modem. The OneWorld 5000 now supports the new AppleShare
Version 6.1 file server software using it to temporarily store incoming and
outgoing faxes.

Normally available for Windows systems, the OneWorld 5000
Administration software now supports Windows emulation software allowing
the network administrator or VAR to configure and manage the OneWorld 5000
server using a Macintosh. Only the administrator is required to use Windows
emulation software if they are using a Macintosh. The OneWorld 5000
supports Virtual PC, RealPC and SoftWindows Windows emulation software.

Earlier customers of the OneWorld 100 communications servers can
upgrade to the OneWorld 5000 Suite server for $1,000 (U.S.) off the
suggested list price. For more information on this special upgrade offer,
contact an authorized value-added reseller or visit the company’s website
at www.oneworldsystems.com.

Support for Billing Codes Facilitates Cost Accounting for Fax Services

Necessary for professional service organizations where fax costs
are billed to clients, the OneWorld 5000 family of communications servers
supports fax cost accounting through billing codes and fax logs. In both
FaxWorks(TM) and GlobalFax(TM) software applications, users can assign two
billing codes to each person in their address book. When a fax is sent, the
billing code is carried into the Fax Log where users or accounting
personnel can view, copy, print or export the Fax Log file information.

The Fax Log tracks faxes that have been sent and received,
time/date of fax, sender and recipient, completion status, pages, billing
codes and duration. Fax Log information can also be exported into any
application that can read comma-delimited files such as spreadsheet or
database applications.

Configuration Wizard makes set-up even easier!

Set-up of the OneWorld 5000 is simplified further with a new
Configuration Wizard. The OneWorld 5000 Administrator software now guides
the administrator through set-up of the OneWorld 5000’s communications
services and WAN port functions. During this process, the Configuration
Wizard acts as a “tutor” to help familiarize the administrator with the
product’s functions quickly and easily.
