weighs in at only 3.3 pounds and is just 1.7 inches high. But this small
wonder scans full-sized A-4 documents at resolutions up to 600X1200-dpi,
maximum resolution of 19200X19200 dpi. Add to that, its truly BUS powered
design eliminates the traditional scene with power adapter or power cables
tangled on desk tops. One cable is all that requires for both power and
scanning.
The combined features of being compact and BUS powered not only help desk
top saving space, but also make Ultima 2000 the perfect companion for
people on the go. With a total carrying weight of less than 5.3lb, the
scanner can connect to an iBook or a PC laptop on an airplane without

Artec Ultima 2000 supports Windows 98, Mac OS 8.5 and up. The richly
bundled software-Adobe PhotoDeluxe, Xerox TextBridge OCR–provides an easy
manipulation of images and documents. User can freely create, edit and
publish photos, images and text documents. Artec developed ScanEZ software
driver (PC) makes it possible to scan directly to email, clipboard, printer
and files.
