limited-time promotion that gives Macintosh users a fast, free way to
upgrade their systems with the latest software updaters required for MacOS
8.5 compatability.
Through December 11, users can download Insider UpdateAgent 3.0 via the
Internet, run it on their Macintosh, and receive free updaters to make the
users' applications compatible with MacOS 8.5 in addition to receiving
MacOS updates.

SIMPLE TO OPERATE
UpdateAgent 3.0 automatically scans a system's drives and displays a list
of programs that it can update. Every program includes direct web links to
the developer's home pages, the updater's information page, and an
on-screen summary. Users can override UpdateAgent's recommendations and
download only the files they want directly from Insider's servers.
UPGRADING TO A REGULAR UPDATEAGENT LICENSE
The current promotion is absolutely free until December 11. At any time,
users can convert their UpdateAgent software to a full license over the
Internet or by phone. If they do, the program can run automatically at
regular intervals, updating all the users' applications with whatever newly
released updaters have become available. A full year of Internet access
costs $49.95 US and a single update session can be purchased for $12.95 US.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
UpdateAgent requires two megabytes of memory to run on the Macintosh system
being updated, as well as whatever disk space is required to store any
