Warp 10 Technologies Inc. Announces the Release of the
Java-Based Digital Toolkit V1.0 for Digital Asset Management

Offers Java Development Tools for Media Asset Management Applications to
Web Developers, Brand Managers, System Integrators, and Value-Added
Resellers

Toronto – December 7, 1998 – (Java Business Expo – Booth #1166) — The
Digital Toolkit v1.0 developed by Warp 10 Technologies (NASDAQ: WARPF; CDN:
WARP) is now available for system integrators, web developers, brand
managers, and resellers who manage media assets. The Digital Toolkit (TDT)
offers system developers a Java-based, web-enabled, three-tiered software
system, that can be completely designed and customized to manage digital
assets, incorporate the functionality of a digital multimedia repository
into host applications, or to develop Web-based solutions.

“As the web continues to grow as the central medium for communication and
collaboration and as the consumer demand for compelling media-driven
experience increases, Warp 10 Technologies acknowledges that Internet
applications will require a media asset management component,” said Marvin
Igelman, president and CEO of Warp 10. “We are extremely pleased that we
are now in a position to offer our product to this emerging market.”

TDT is ideal for organizations where brand recognition is of strategic
importance. The Toolkit provides brand managers and developers with the
ability to build an application that facilitates control, storage, and
re-purposing of digital assets. Allowing these organizations to re-use
media assets for additional projects, TDT creates a significant return on
investment thus creating new revenue or increasing existing revenues. TDT
allows you to build applications in e-commerce and brands management. TDT
addresses the need for media category, workflow and library services.
Additionally, TDT supports new business applications that increases profits
by increasing shareholder value, reducing production times and costs,
creating a new source of revenue and leading to a return on the original
investment.

TDT is a set of Java classes and C/C++ programs that can be used to
implement a multi-tiered client/server or a complete stand-alone software
system for managing digital assets, or objects such as images, video, audio
and text files. TDT provides integrators with an all-in-one strategy as it
includes an imbedded object database, web templates, a full text search
engine, TDT Java classes, and sample application of an image repository and
Java-upload module.
