1Password

Password 1 browser extensions support Safari, Camino, Firefox, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, NetNewsWire, Netscape Navigator, and Flock. All browser extensions share the data stored in the keychain which means you never need to manually copy your passwords between browsers or from the password.

1Password iprovides anti-phishing protection and web form filling and automatic strong password generation. All your confidential information, including passwords, identities, and credit cards, is kept in one secure place provided by the Keychain app that comes with Mac OS X. The app also prevents keylogging since you’re not typing. See our Jan. 3, 2008 review.

AdminGtool

AdminGtoo is a management tool for system administrators. Based on FileMaker, the software offers modules for managing passwords, software and hardware configurations, serial numbers, employee data, contracts and bills. The software is also suitable for cross-platform networks and is available in basic, pro and enterprise versions.

AllBookmarks

AllBookmarks lets you generate passwords. With a single click you can generate a random fixed-length or dictionary-based password. Fixed length passwords are generated by randomly selecting letters from the allowed character set. You can customize what characters are allowed in generated passwords: characters (uppercase, lowercase, or both), numbers, symbols, and spaces. Dictionary based passwords are generated by randomly choosing words from the dictionary and concatenating them together, separating them with a predefined separator. You can choose what dictionary to use and can customize the separator.

Arcana

Arcana is a small utility designed to help you generate secure and memorable passwords.

KeyMaster

KeyMaster provides a single place to store all of your passwords for websites, programs, or any other use requiring a password. KeyMaster also allows you to lock the application so that if you step away for a moment, no one can view your passwords. As an additional security feature, KeyMaster will auto lock itself after 20 minutes of inactivity. KeyMaster uses SQLite and Blowfish encryption technology so that none of your passwords, usernames and sites are stored on the computer as plain text that can be harvested by hackers or malicous software.

LittleSecrets

LittleSecrets is basically a hierarchically-organized encrypted set of note pages that doen't try to impose formatting. The documents created with LittleSecrets will be encrypted with the "Blowfish" algorithm with a key length of 448 bit in "Cipher Block Chaining" mode. Therefore, you have to choose a password. This method ensures the protection of your data. Only the one who knows the right password will be able to decrypt the information.

Mikey

Mikey allows you to store your personal keys in a safe spot; you can store your log-ins, usernames, passwords, and software activation codes.

If you remember the key you can recreate any password for any user name you have created somewhere along the way.

PassDirector

PassDirector is a secure personal database for sensitive data (bank accounts, credit cards, email accounts, serial numbers, web passwords or any other sensitive information). It uses Blowfish encryption (up to 448 bit); the password isn't stored in the computer so can't be retrieved.

Passenger

Passenger is a server account creation and password generation tool that will import tab and comma-delimited text files and create account information and passwords for AppleShare IP 6.3, Macintosh Manager, Eudora Internet Mail Server, WebSTAR FTP, and WebSTAR Web. User names can be concatenated from names with several choices. Users may also create user folders or define their own export formats for most tab or comma-delimited export. Passenger uses an algorithm for passwords so that they can be regenerated.
