Kerio Technologies, which specializes in IT security and messaging, makes Kerio MailServer, an alternative to Microsoft Exchange. It has mobile phone support via ActiveSync and integrates well with iCal and Address book on Mac OS X 10.6, as well as Outlook on Windows.
