Algoriddim has announced djay Remote, an US$4.99 app that turns a user’s iPhone or iPod Ttouch into a fully-fledged DJ controller. Wirelessly syncing with algoriddim’s djay software on the Mac, djay Remote enables users to mix and play their iTunes music, whether they’re mingling with guests or mixing it up on the dance floor.
Imesart has introduced Disacol 1.0, an $1.99 logic game for iPhone OS devices. It sports a mix of box moving and color matching for a "brain teasing experience." Move a box pusher around and bring boxes of the same color together to make them disappear. Find the right pushing sequence and make boxes of all colors disappear.
Wizzard Media has announced Motion Traxx for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $2.99 app is a "motivator for exercise and makes meeting fitness goals easier."

The Planet, the global leader in IT hosting, has unveiled a new mobile iPhone app expressly designed to make it easy for customers to connect to the company’s Orbit customer portal. In its first iteration, the free app enables customers to view and manage support tickets; monitor server ping status; reboot servers; power servers on and off; and initiate operating system (OS) reloads. Customers are also able to review bandwidth utilization graphs, and track recent invoice data.
Paul Gee has freed DVD Ferret 1.2, an update of the free utility for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It compares the price of DVD or Blu-ray media from 20 major Internet retailers in the UK. Searches can be performed on the title, actor, director, category or format enabling the consumer to track down the latest release. Just tap on a match and DVD Ferret will display the list of retailers who are selling the DVD and tell you who is the cheapest.
Kode80 is offering HoloToy 1.02, the second update to its $0.99 3D technology app for iPhone and iPod touch. Version 1.02 introduces a physics based bouncy ball that exists inside the virtual 3D space created by the HoloToy. HoloToy works by distorting the 3D scenes displayed on screen in a way our brains would expect based on the current angle of the device.
