Coherent Graphics has unveiled Proview 1.0 (http://www.coherentpdf.com/proview.html), a PDF Editor for Mac OS X. It sports a range of tools to edit existing PDF documents, as well as build new documents from scratch.
Proview is based on the same professional-strength PDF technology as Coherent Graphic’s high-end server solution. It allows you to merge and split files, rotate flip and scale individual pages, or all pages, crop pages and modify the document information. With it you can manage PDF bookmarks, add or remove PDF attachments, and add text and dates to one or more pages. Proview ships with interactive help. Additionally, users can edit encrypted files, as well as decrypt and encrypt PDF documents.
Proview requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later. It costs US$40 for a single user license. A demo is available for download.
