Attendance Policy

The Short version (or tl;dr)

Be excellent to each other.

The longer version.

MacTech events are a place where we want everyone to feel comfortable. It’s part of making it a great experience for all, as MacTech events have become known for.

By attending this MacTech event, we ask you to help make our conference a place where everyone feels safe and welcome. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form -- onsite as well as in any online or social media. Anyone violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the sole and complete discretion of event staff.

Everyone involved in the conference -- attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and staff -- are expected to abide by this policy at al times: during sessions, meals, after hours events, and so on.

Harassment includes deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination, sexual images in public spaces, photography or recording harassing of an individual, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If you feel, at any time, for any reason, that you, or anyone else, are not safe and welcome, contact any event staff member immediately.

Event staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference.

We value your attendance. Got a question? Drop us an email.
