Markzware today announced the availability of FlightCheck Professional 5.7, the latest update to its quality control tool for the print and multimedia manufacturing workflow market. This release of FlightCheck expands and improves this solution in several areas and provides recent compatibility upgrades for Macintosh OS X Tiger and QuarkXPress v6.5. The company says version 5.7 includes over 22 customer suggestions that have been implemented and optimized. These include full preflight support for Adobe CS 2 components, including: InDesign 4, PhotoShop 9 — including .PSB file types, Illustrator 12, and PDF 1.6; and more comprehensive support for EPS files. The suggested retail price for FlightCheck Professional is US$499.
