Macintosh author Michael Bartosh (O’Reilly Media’s Mac OS X Tiger Server Administration and Mac OS X Panther Server Administration), fell to his death from a friend’s balcony on Sunday in Tokyo, which local authorities say was an accident. A posting on AFP548.com notes: “To many people Michael was a source of endless information that he provided about Mac OS X Server. He was an author, a trainer, a consultant, and, to many, a good friend. All of us here at AFP548.com are still in a state of shock over the loss. We are sure that many in the community feel the same way.” Michael is survived by his wife Amber. Our thoughts go out to Mr. Bartosh’s friends and family at this time of loss.
