Getting Started with Git

Today, we will look at the source-code management (SCM) tool called Git. First, we will get a copy of the Git source tarball and compile Git as a Universal Binary. Then, we will install the tool and configure it on Mac OS X. Next, we will learn how to use Git to do some basic SCM transactions. Then, we will learn how to use Git in Xcode by the power of menu scripts.
