Applied Acoustics Systems says its Strum GS-2 acoustic and electric guitar plug-in now supports Native Instrument’s NKS extended plug-in format.

NKS brings interaction between Strum GS-2 and KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards and MASCHINE hardware. Strum GS-2’s key parameters have been mapped in order to provide tactile control of its physical modeling engine.

What’s more, the key switches of Strum GS-2’s Guitar, Keyboard, and Loop modes are reflected to the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards’ Light Guide for a fast and persistent reference. Finally, Strum GS-2’s entire factory preset library now appears in the tag-based browsers of the MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL software.

This new NKS version of Strum GS-2 (http://tinyurl.com/qzynhxy) is available now and provided free of charge to registered users. Until Aug. 31, Strum GS-2 is offered at a price of $99 (a 50% discount) to new users. Strum GS-2 runs on both Mac OS X and Windows in 32- and 64-bit host sequencers supporting the VST, Audio Units, RTAS, and AAX Native plug-in formats.
