Apple has issued updates for its Final Cut Pro X, Motion, and Compressor apps.

Final Cut Pro X is Apple’s US$2.99 high-end video editing app. Version 10.2 adds support for 3D titles, improved color grading and effects tools, support for additional camera formats, and GPU-accelerated processing of RAW footage from RED cameras.

Motion is Apple’s $49.99 tool for customizing Final Cut Pro titles, transitions, and effects, and creating your own animations. With version 5.2 users can users can create custom materials and environments, and instantly publish them to Final Cut Pro X.

Compressor is a $49.99 utility for customizing output settings, working faster with distributed encoding, and tapping into other Final Cut Pro X features. Version 4.2 adds the ability to package movies for sale on iTunes.

All three updates are available for free for existing owners of the software at the Mac App Store.
