Apple has released MacBook Air SMC Update 2.0 for mid-2013 MacBook Air models.
This update addresses an issue which may cause the battery to drain faster than expected when the lid is closed. It requires Mac O X 10.8.5 or later and is available via the Software Update component of OS X’s Systems Preferences app.
