Panasonic’s KX-PRL262B Dock Style DECT telephone system is compatible with iPhone 5/5s, iPod touch and iPad mini models with Lightning connectors and offers an array of features, including the ability to play music through the built-in speakers, on-base phone charging and the ability to make and receive cell phone calls through the base handsets.

The Panasonic KX-PRL262B Dock-Style combines traditional home communication with integrated home entertainment.  By connecting the iPhone 5/5s via Bluetooth on the Panasonic KX-PRL262B Dock-Style cordless telephone system, users can enjoy music or make and receive hands-free calls from their iPhone, through the phone’s built-in stereo speakers. A built-in Lightning connector keeps a user’s iPhone 5/5s charged for an uninterrupted conversation or music experience.

The Panasonic KX-PRL262B Dock Style cordless telephone system uses the company’s Link2Cell technology to connect a user’s iPhone with the unit’s handset via Bluetooth, allowing users to make and receive cell phone calls anywhere in the home using the handset. Panasonic’s Link2Cell technology works with or without a landline. To ensure important text messages are not missed, the phone offers a talking text sender alert that announces the name of the sender when a text message is received on the iPhone.

The Panasonic KX-PRL262B Dock Style cordless telephone system’s display angle allows FaceTime video communication on the iPhone while it’s docked and being charged. Users can also enjoy the music playback feature by using the handset as a remote control to adjust the volume of the base unit speakers or play, stop, skip, repeat, fast-forward and rewind music on the iPhone, iPad or iPod.

The KX-PRL262B is available at www.shop.panasonic.com for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$199.99.
