SavvyDox has brought its self-titled software to the Mac. It’s available now in beta form. Just remember: beta software is unfinished software so use with care.
The folks at SavvyDox say it’s designed to solve tablet and desktop document management issues for enterprises, government and publishers —all within an enterprise grade, private, hybrid or public cloud based secure infrastructure. Authors can upload documents directly from a PDF file, then share those documents among multiple recipients.
Anyone receiving the document can add comments, private or shared. Shared comments are immediately visible to the author and all other readers.
As a cloud based system, SavvyDox also keeps track of access to documents. While accessing the cloud, SavvyDox Document Analytics allow authors to determine which readers have downloaded and opened their documents, and if required, a document can be revoked.
