Tension Software (http://www.tensionsoftware.com) has revved NoteList, a Mac OS X app for managing notes and storing data in a free format using color categories, to version 3.2.

In NoteList any note has a assigned category, where each category has a distinctive color and label. This allows to identify the content of notes at the first sight.
Categories are editable. All the notes inside a document are listed in a table and can be in text or RTF formats with or without embedded images.

In NoteList 3.2, multiple notes can be concatenated in a unique piece of text, after selecting them from the list, using a single click. The result can be sent to the clipboard or on disk. NoteList costs US$10 and requires Mac OS X 10.8 or later.
