In a note to clients — as reported by “AppleInsider” (www.appleinsider.com) — Sterne Agee analyst — says manufacturing of the iPhone 5 is revving up and Apple should sell 46.5 million total smartphone units in the December quarter.

That would be a big quarter-over-quarter increase from the 26.9 million iPhone units Apple shipped in the preceding September quarter. We says the supply chain bottleneck for the iPhone 5 has since moved from components to the assembly of the device itself.
