Onset (http://www.onsetcomp.com) has announced the HOBO UX90 Occupancy & Light Logger, a Mac-compatible LCD-display data logger that tracks building occupancy and light usage to pinpoint areas in a building that could benefit from occupancy sensors and other energy savings initiatives.

Building owners, facility managers, energy auditors, and lighting contractors can use the data loggers to quickly and easily collect time-stamped data documenting each time room occupancy or lighting status changes, says Jessica Frackleton, manager of product marketing for Onset.. The compact data loggers are easy to mount to lighting fixtures, ceilings and walls, and can be set up and installed in less than a minute, he adds.

Once data has been recorded with the HOBO UX90 Occupancy & Light Logger, it can be viewed in graph form using accompanying Mac-based HOBOware software, and printed out for use in reports. The data can also be exported to Microsoft Excel for more detailed analysis.

HOBO UX90 Series data loggers are available immediately from Onset. Prices range from US$85 to $224. Go to http://www.onsetcomp.com/products/data-loggers/ux90-family for complete pricing details and technical specifications.
