Dosware has released Deskorder 1.1.3 for Mac OS X, an update to their video app that lets users record video of their screen, camera, mic, and speakers. It’s a maintenance update.

Deskorder is designed for recording and sharing video tutorials. The app features full or partial screen recording, user selectable frame rate and compression, saving video as an MOV file, and full support for uploading to video hosting sites such as YouTube, ScreenCast, and Facebook.

Depending upon their needs, users can set Deskorder to record the entire Mac screen or just a part of it. An expanding/contracting record window lets users drag any corner to create a custom size and shape. Similarly, video producers can adjust the location of the record window by simply dragging it with the mouse. Clicking the Record button at the center of the window initiates the recording process.

Deskorder requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later. It costs US$29.99 and is available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Video category. There’s also a free “lite” version.
