Boris FX (http://www.borisfx.com) says Boris Soundbite 1.1 is now available, adding support for Apple Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 for Mac.

Powered by patented dialogue search technology from Nexidia, it’s a tool for locating footage by finding any word or phrase spoken in multimedia files. A standalone Mac OS X application, Boris Soundbite finds any word or phrase spoken in QuickTime media files. With Soundbite, video editors, producers, and journalists can instantly play all occurrences of a spoken phrase in their media, then insert the perfect take into their Premiere Pro CS5.5, Final Cut Pro X, or Final Cut Pro 7 project. They can also organize clips around keywords and even find replacement words for problematic audio.

Soundbite 1.1 is immediately available through the Boris FX worldwide reseller channel and direct from the Boris FX website for an introductory price of US$295. It’s a free downloadable update for all Boris Soundbite users. A fully functioning, 14-day demo version is available for download.
