Seagate has released a firmware upgrade (http://macte.ch/F6iae) for the GoFlex Satellite to enhance existing features and provide customers with the ability to experience music the way they’ve come to expect on an iPod, iPad or Android device.
Last spring Seagate introduced the storage product that allows people to wirelessly extend the storage of their mobile device to accommodate streaming of HD video, and other files. The new firmware upgrade provides enhancements that include sort options for music, slideshow effects, existing playlist support, iTunes playlist export and music cover art among other advances.
