Apple is working on a web-based remote diagnostic tool that would help an Apple Specialist in finding and fixing problems with iOS devices, reports “HardMac” (http://www.hardmac.com). This tool’s arrival would probably coincide with the release of iOS 5 this fall.

“HardMac” says the diagnostic tool will provide info such as:

° Health, level of load of the battery, duration passed since the last complete charge;

° The minimum level to which the battery was disdischarged;

° The iOS version installed;

° The ability to ascertain if the device was turned off “normally.”
