CompanionLink Software has announced two-way synchronization of contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between popular PC software and the iPad 2.

CompanionLink offers multiple ways to sync the iPad 2, including local Wi-Fi sync, a secure hosted wireless sync service, and automatic wireless sync via Google. The sync works in tandem with a business-focused iPad app called DejaOffice.

CompanionLink will sync the iPad 2 with CRM suites like IBM Lotus Notes, Sage ACT!, Palm Desktop, Novell GroupWise, Salesforce CRM, and Highrise. CompanionLink also synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook add-ins like Franklin Covey PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook, Getting Things Done (GTD), Take Back Your Life, Respond, Avidian Prophet, and Outlook Business Contact Manager.
