Install your RocketRAID into any available PCI slot.
*If you do not have two empty or non-full-length PCI slots after installing this card, you will only be able to have nine hard drives in your Power Mac.
If you have any full-length PCI cards it is best to move them to the top PCI slots, unless you have a full-length AGP card. If you do, put the full-length PCI cards in the bottom slots, and find some way to mount the hard drives to the piece of metal above the slots. Two can simply be placed above the optical drive, although you can screw them in if you want. Four more will go in front of the main processor fans, and if you only want nine hard drives, you can use a SwiftData 200, as shown.

Next, hook up your eight hard drives not in the hard drive bay to your RocketRAID. Finally, turn on your computer and format or partition your hard drives as you wish.
BTW, if you have a single-processor Power Mac, you might be able to put more hard drives in the space below the heat sink by threading the wires behind the plastic holding the fan and in front of the RAM. If you bought a SwiftData to hold in the drives in front of the fans, this is a good use for the PCI card.
